CANELE
Canelés or Cannelés are classic little French vanilla custards from the region of Bordeaux.
I learned this secret recipe, tough by the MOF (Best Artisan of France) in Bordeaux in 2021 and bring it to you in California.
They are a match made in heaven with most of the coffees with the most real, simple, and organic ingredients: flour, eggs, sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla. Ours also include natural organic honey sourced from Guatemalan coffee farms.
All the ingredients we use are locally sourced and traceable, like our coffee.
I have been practicing the baking of canelés for the past 12 months with training and advice from the best places in France when I visit every year. I baked each batch the same day.
