Memli Water Kit
The only water concentrate you'll ever need. Adjust, try and taste different water with this DIY kit to make your own water! You'll only need a gallon of distilled water to start your journey to excellence. The Memli Water Kit can make up to 25 gallons of water for coffee.
Water is the solvent that extracts the goodness in your coffee. We believe that home brewer should enjoy the best of their cup, like in a cafe.
Each package includes:
- 50mL vial of Alkalinity concentrate [HCO3-] +1mL syringe
- 50mL of Magnesium Sulfate concentrate [Mg2+] +1mL syringe
- 50mL of Calcium Chloride concentrate [Ca2+] +1mL syringe
We only use Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, and Potassium Bicarbonate in our recipes. These minerals are often present in your water bottles in high concentrations. Instead, we've selectively created concentrates to allow you to test and create your own water based on your taste preference and usage. Because the best water is the one that makes the coffee you like

Take 1mL of a concentrate and put it in a gallon of distilled water. Each dose of 1 mL gives you 25 ppm (as CaCO3) of the corresponding concentrate.
Adjust the amount of concentrate based on your desired result.
Start with Alkalinity to set the buffer. If the alkalinity is too low, there is a risk of having more sourness in the cup. If it's too high, the coffee will taste quite flat without much intensity.
Then move on to the General Hardness with Calcium and Magnesium. Those are your minerals that extract the flavors. Magnesium tends to extract the enzymatic (like florals, fruity, etc) while Calcium creates a better bond with melanoidins (principle indicator of the body of your coffee).
