Advanced Pour-Over Workshop
Learn advanced tips to brew coffee like in a pro
Service Description
This is a 2-hours hands-on experience focusing on the details of pour-over brewing. The workshop starts with a recap of the classic pour-over dial-in protocol that we learn in our classic home brewing class followed by a demonstration of our recipe. By starting with the grind size, we will aim for a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with pouring techniques and mise en place. You will then learn how to put a brewing system in place in order to control various parameters and learn more about pre-brewing preparations, filter folding, pouring patterns, kettle heights, agitation, and water characteristics. It's your time to brew and adapt your pouring patterns based on the balance of acidity, flavor expression, mouthfeel, and aftertaste. You'll learn how to use a TDS meter and calculate extraction. We will be using a cone-shaped followed by a flat bottom dripper and compare their geometry. Lastly, we will discuss water composition, temperature effect, and filtration system. Be ready to be a pro and get a free bag of coffee at the end.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel your attendance at one of our coffee workshops. In order to be fair to our other attendees and our instructors, we have the following cancellation policy in place: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 3-6 days prior to the workshop date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel your attendance, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather or low attendance. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future workshop.
